The International Journal of Applied Linguistics and Literature is inviting scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit their papers for the upcoming issue. This journal seeks to foster a dynamic exchange between applied linguistics and literary studies, exploring how language and literature shape, influence, and reflect cultural, social, and cognitive dynamics.

We invite papers that bridge the domains of applied linguistics and literature, addressing topics such as, but not limited to:

    • Stylistics and literary linguistics: Linguistic tools for analyzing narrative structures, character dialogue, and stylistic choices.
    • Sociolinguistic factors in literature: Examining how dialect, language variation, and register shape literary texts.
  2. Language Acquisition and Literature
    • The use of literature in second language acquisition (SLA) settings.
    • Cognitive linguistics and its applications in literary analysis and comprehension.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract Submission: Please submit an abstract of 300-500 words outlining the focus, research questions, methodology, and relevance to the journal's theme.
  • Full Paper Submission: If your abstract is accepted, please submit the full paper (6,000-8,000 words) by the specified deadlines.
  • Language: All submissions must be in English.
  • Paper Submission Deadline: February 15, 2025
  • Notification of Acceptance: February 25, 2025
  • Publication Date: March 1, 2025
