Article Processing Charges

The International Journal of Applied Linguistics is committed to providing high-quality publishing services to its authors. To facilitate the editorial and publishing processes, we implement Article Processing Charges (APCs). These charges contribute to the costs of peer review, editing, formatting, and online publication.

Processing Charges

• For Faculty Members:

  A processing charge of 150 USD applies for submissions from faculty members affiliated with recognized academic institutions. This reduced rate reflects our commitment to support academic contributions from established scholars.

• For Students:

  Students who are the primary authors of the submitted manuscripts are required to pay a processing charge of 200 USD. We aim to encourage young researchers and provide them with the opportunity to publish their work.

• For Regular Authors:

  A standard processing charge of 250 USD is applicable for all other authors who do not fall under the faculty or student categories. This fee ensures that we maintain the high standards of our publication process.

Payment Guidelines

All processing charges must be paid before the publication of the accepted manuscript. Authors will receive an invoice upon acceptance of their manuscript. Payment can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other payment methods as specified in the invoice.

Failure to complete the payment within the specified timeframe may result in delays in the publication process or withdrawal of the manuscript. Authors are encouraged to ensure that payments are processed promptly to avoid any disruptions.

Waivers and Discounts

The journal recognizes that financial constraints may hinder some authors from publishing their work. In certain cases, waivers or discounts on article processing charges may be available. Authors who believe they may qualify for a waiver should submit a formal request outlining their circumstances when submitting their manuscript. Each request will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
